Marilyn Manson and actress Evan Rachel Wood, who got back together fairly recently, ended their engagement last week, a source confirmed this morning. A newly single Manson wasted no time getting back in the swing of things, hitting the town over the weekend, dining at L.A's STK and clubbing at Boudoir. According to reports, the 41-year-old shock rocker was with a group including a brunette named Twiggy and former Playmate of the Year Colleen Shannon.

People Magazine got confirmation that Marilyn Manson and Evan Rachel Wood have split for, like, the billionth time (I actually think it’s the third time, maybe?). They’ve been doing the on-and-off thing for so many years that I’m not even going to try to backtrack and trace all of the splits and reconciliations. Suffice to say that at one point last year, they were broken up, then Marilyn announced last December that they were back on, and there was even vague talk of an engagement back in January.

First we heard the strange but true news that Spider-Man was being adapted for the Broadway musical stage then we heard that the show was put on hold due to technical complications and lack of funding … then we heard that the show was being canceled before we heard that show composer Bono of U2 decided to fund the production so that it could move forward … THEN we heard that the show, Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark would FINALLY be opening in November (instead of February of this year).
