I keep reading about Woody Allen directing a new film in Paris called Midnight in Paris, but the cast seems rather nonsensical to me. There’s Owen Wilson - who I believe is the “Woody” character, plus actors like Marion Cotillard, Adrien Brody, Rachel McAdams, Michael Sheen…and Kathy Bates? Anyway, somehow Woody talked Carla Bruni-Sarkozy, otherwise known as The First Lady of France, into taking a smaller supporting part in the film. I believe this is the first time a French First Lady worked on a film while her husband was in office. Expectations were high.

Is The FogHorn In ‘Inception’ A Clue To The Film’s Meaning?
Okay … if you have not yet seen Inception, this post is not for you. Trust me, I had to wait a full week to see Inception and I did everything possible to stay away from all spoilers until I was finally able to see the film for myself. If you have seen Inception, then this is something you might want to check out … … now, naturally, if you’ve not seen the movie then you have no idea what the “foghorn sound” is but you may have heard it in the movie trailer for the film.
Tom Hardy (sexy Brit actor) admits he’s “played with everything & everyone”
I’ve mentioned my love for Tom Hardy before. I first noticed him in Band of Brothers (my favorite miniseries of all time), but I only recognized him as The Sex when I saw his lovely, funny, charming, naughty performance in RockNRolla, in which he stole most scenes away from Gerard Butler (by the way, Idris Elba is in that too, and his scenes with Hardy and Butler… Jesus, that film has man-candy!).
Marion Cotillard for Interview Mag, plus thoughts on ‘Inception’
Marion Cotillard is the August cover girl for Interview Magazine. I love the cover - and the rest of the photo shoot (here) is really lovely. Marion is a gorgeous woman, and the camera loves her, I’ve never doubted that. What I do doubt, however, if just how eccentric Marion is. I’ve mentioned this before, when I attempted to cull some highlights from Marion’s Vogue cover interview - this chick is strange, and it’s not all just “lost in translation”.

Marion Cotillard Covers VOGUE July 2010
French siren Marion Cotillard is all sorts of perfection in Dior on the July 2010 cover of Vogue, as captured by celebrated photog Mario Testino. Here’s what the 34-year-old actress told contributing editor Joan Juliet Buck :On playing in the Expressionist-Surrealist band Yodelice fronted by composer Mazim Nucci: “I play the bass guitar, keyboard, and tambourine—I’m their one-woman band and all-purpose maid,” Cotillard explains. Marion Cotillard is Vogue’s July cover girl - is her eccentricity an act?
This is Marion Cotillard for the July issue of Vogue. She’s a gorgeous woman and these are lovely photos… but is it just me, or does she not look quite like Marion Cotillard? At first glance, I thought it was Zooey Deschanel. The whole point of the profile is for Marion to promote her role in Inception, but she refuses to talk about the character she plays, or even what the film is about. So, eh.
