Yesterday we got our first look at Lindsay Lohan on the cover and in the pages of the new issue of Vanity Fair magazine and we learned from the troubled starlet that altho she claims to take ownership for the irresponsibility that has led to legal woes, she pretty much blamed all of her mistakes on everything INCLUDING the kitchen sink.

Samantha Ronson has/had a bulldog named Cadillac. Yesterday, Cadillac reportedly attacked a woman and her Maltese, either a short distance from Samantha’s LA apartment, or in the apartment building. According to TMZ, the whole thing went down around 11 am on Monday - Cadillac first attacked the (3 to 5 pound) Maltese - named Tiger - and then moved on to attack Tiger’s mom. It is believed that someone else was with Cadillac, and that Samantha only heard about this attack after the fact.

Well, it looks like Radar had better sources than TMZ last night - early Tuesday evening, Radar reported that Lindsay Lohan had already signed her own release forms for UCLA’s Neuropsychiatric Hospital. Lindsay Lohan’s enabling mom was on the Today Show this morning to blame Lindsay’s very real issues on everyone else, as usual. While Dina is bitching and moaning about Lindsay’s abbreviated jail sentence and rehab follow-up (which is also likely to be cut short), this entire episode might be the best thing to happen to Lindsay’s flailing career since she f’ed it all up with multiple DUIs three years ago. We’ve already heard that she stands to make 1/2 a million for her first post-jail/rehab interview, but she also stands to cash in multiple other ways.
Yesterday, a gay, Republican-appointed California judge overturned the state’s controversial ballot initiative Prop 8, which banned gay marriages state-wide. Prop 8 passed in a state-wide vote in 2008, in a push largely funded by the Church of Latter Day Saints and out-of-state money, which is to say that gay rights and gay advocacy groups were out-gunned and weren’t as heavily organized as you’d think. When Prop 8 was passed, it became something of a cause célèbre for Hollywood types, and yesterday’s ruling has made many celebrities very happy.
